FESTIVAL OPERATIONS

Festival Operations Team

Matt Borasi

Based out of Sacramento, I have been involved with RockMed for over 9 years and have been in the festival world for a little over 6 years. When not working festivals, I am a Field-Team Leader and Field Training Officer for Sacramento venues. While country shows will always hold a close spot in my heart, festivals have become my true passion with RockMed. Not only do you get the opportunity to see and listen to a variety of incredible artists in just as amazing venues, but you get to meet and interact with incredible people. I am fortunate to have worked in every position within a festival show and can honestly say that each position is vital to the effectiveness, efficiency, compassion, and empathy RockMed is known to provide. If it is your first festival show, or you're a seasoned festival volunteer, I can promise you that you will always walk away having learned something new and a new group of friends. The knowledge you gain from working a festival is invaluable and the comradery you experience is rarely replicated.

Outside of RockMed, you can find me sailing on a racing team in San Francisco!

Concord Pavilion

Hello, my name is Sunny Shergill, and this is my 6th year with RockMed! I currently work full-time as the Technical Theatre Director and an admin team member at a high school. In my spare time, I also work for the State EMS Authority as a Deputy Unit Commander and for the State Office of Emergency Services as a member of the Communications Unit. I am fortunate to work in the same field as my hobby, so you can catch me watching a musical or even mixing a concert in my spare, spare time.

If you have never checked us out at the Concord Pavilion, I highly recommend it! We are one of the largest East Bay music venues, and every year our season gets bigger and better. If there is one thing I hope you gain when volunteering with us, it's what it means to be RockMed Team Member. The RockMed members who come to the Pavilion are some of the most caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated individuals at RockMed. We utilize our "seasoned" RockMed staff to use "down time" to work with newer RockMed staff on skills and whatever they would like to know! Don't know how to do something? No problem! Ask, and we will make sure you learn it and apply what you learn! Are you usually on a field team but would like some clinic experience or vice versa? Say no more! We will make sure to rotate you in throughout the show! Want to lead a show? Done! We will guide you through the process of being a team lead, show lead, and any other position you may be interested in doing in your time with RockMed! Our goal is to make your time with us a fulfilling experience. We have a "One Team, One Mission" mindset and would love for you to experience it yourself!
